Suarez bags hat trick as Ajax pounds De Graafschap

08/29/2010 - Doetinchem, Netherlands (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - A hat trick from Luis Suarez put Ajax well on its way to a 5-0 thumping of De Graafschap at De Vijverberg on Sunday.

Suarez scored twice in the first half and again in the 85th minute, between second-half goals from Urby Emanuelson and Christian Eriksen.

Ajax has now earned 10 points from its opening four games, putting them on top of the Eredivisie table along with PSV Eindhoven.

It took Suarez 14 minutes to open the scoring as he turned home a cross from Gregory van der Wiel, while the lead was doubled before halftime with a well- taken free kick from Suarez that found the upper-right corner of the net from 20 yards.

The hat trick was nearly completed in the 59th minute when another free kick from Suarez crashed off the crossbar, but it didn't take long for Emanuelson to extend the lead to three goals with a free kick of his own that beat goalkeeper Boy Waterman.

Demy de Zeeuw's pass five minutes from time set up the third goal of the game for Suarez and Eriksen capped the scoring in the 89th minute.

Twente cruised to a 4-0 win over Utrecht as Luuk de Jong and Marc Janko scored two goals apiece, Feyenoord rolled to a 4-0 victory against Vitesse, Frantisek Kubik scored nine minutes from time to help Den Haag earn a 2-2 draw with PSV Eindhoven and AZ Alkmaar drew for the third time in four games as they finished 1-1 with Excelsior.
